Little Italy (running from Canal to Bleeker and then Lafayette and the Bowery) is a community, more than anything else. Rich in Italian blood, Little Italy is the place of change.

You need something, someone will help you with it; however, be expected to be in debt to them, nothing comes free.

The church (Elizabeth street) and the community center (corner of Grand and Mott) provide everything that the lodging house does not. See, Grand Street lodging wasn't originally meant for it, and is just a renovated building. However, it works out okay, because the rest of the Little Italy community will help out with the slack the lodging house doesn't have.

Now, Shane, while not the territorial genius like Spot Conlon, does have control over all of Little Italy. That includes the girls' house on Marion. So if someone you know lives on Marion and they report to Mariana, Mariana will report that to Shane.

Little Italy is a nice place, full of friendly people. Most speak Italian with bits of English, so a lot of the newsboys hock their headlines in both languages.

However, in the past few years, organized crime has been spreading, with little Italy at the center of it. They call themselves the mob, and they're getting more dangerous everyday. So watch out if you see something bad happen, or you may end up missing, as well.

That being said, that's why the lodging house has such strict rules. Need to keep everyone safe and all.

Other than that, most of the newsboys in Little Italy will be Italian, though if you are not, it's okay. You will have some difficulty with the boys until you prove yourself, and you might also have a harder time selling because the people want to buy from their kin; so you better be charismatic.

Now, with that being said, how about we go over what's been happening in the past few years, yeah? The news, as it is
