The lodging house has five floors, including the basement.

Basement's mostly for storage, for both the lodging house and the business. There are extra lockers down there, and sometimes boys sleep down there when the weather's nice enough.

The first floor is off limits to everyone but the business that runs out of it. It doesn't matter that it's a bakery with nice looking girls, if any boy is caught lingering, he will be punished or not let in that night.

The second floor is the sign in table and the bunkroom. You have to sign in every night when you come in (curfew's at 9:30 sharp; any later and you have to pay extra.) Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can get a pass that let's you out until 11:30, though not many people get it.

Speaking of, rent's six cents, except for Saturdays, when it's seven cents. You pay an extra penny every hour you come in after 9:30, and if you're not in by 11:30, well, you can sleep on the street.

It's encouraged that you take the classes they offer down at the church on the corner of Elizabeth and Grand, which start at 6pm and go to 9, depending on how many classes you want to take.

The church also provides breakfast and dinner (three cents per meal) and so does the lodging house itself (four cents per meal, but better quality.)

The bunkroom is nice enough. Lays 100 boys comfortably, more if worse comes to worst.

Third floor is washrooms and lockers. You keep your stuff in your lockers and wash up in the washroom.

Fourth floor is the private rooms. Don't go up there, unless you're tying to get to the roof, but even that's not encouraged.

Now, about the neighborhood...
